The "Fukuyadouri" brand is a Kesennuma local rice sake brand that originated from the "Seiryuugura no Hana no Kai" which was formed by Kesennuma liquor stores and other groups in 1995. Currently, it is brewed by two breweries in Kesennuma: Otokoyama Honten and Kakuboshi.

Fukuyadouri sake is brewed using "Kuranohana" rice grown in Kesennuma, which has abundant pure water. It is a special brand with limited distribution, as retail sales are limited to member liquor stores in Kesennuma.

What is Fukuyadouri Junmai Ginjoshu "Kura no Hana"?

Fukuyadouri Junmai Ginjosyu "Kuranohana" is a Junmai Ginjosyu that is confidently recommended by the brewery, which uses local Kesennuma rice "Kuranohana."

It won the gold medal in the premium warm sake category at the 2020 National Warm Sake Contest.
